Pay Rate: $15.25 - $16.25

Position Summary

TRIDENT is seeking a Security Officer to provide professional security and safety services in the Greater Huntsville area

The tasks listed below provide a basic guide to your daily duties. Our Security Officers are the heart of our operation and are critical to ensuring its smooth operation. As such, they are required to be highly dependable and pay close attention to detail. This position will require the capability to work independently with limited supervision, demonstrate critical thinking to solve problems, and multitask.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

• Familiarize yourself with the post orders and any pass-down notes, memos related to the site and post.

• Provide Tier-1 customer service to client employees, customers, co-workers, and visitors with questions, directions, and general inquiries.

• Receive and document customer questions or concerns and escalate them to the appropriate Trident representative or Site POC.

• Ensure all issues and complaints are fully documented and appropriately escalated to Trident and the Client, as appropriate.

• Patrol premises regularly (every 60 minutes) to maintain order and establish presence.

• Monitor and control access of authorized vehicles, personnel, or visitors on the property.

• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all workers wear their personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

• Respond to medical emergencies and provide basic first aid, CPR, and AED.

• Conduct interior and exterior door checks to ensure doors and gates are secure and functioning properly.

• Conduct interior and exterior building checks for glass breaks, maintenance issues, hazards, or other situations that are out of the ordinary.

• Observe and escalate up the chain of command any situations involving suspicious persons or situations.

• Any other duties as assigned by Trident.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous security experience is preferred.

REQUIRED LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Must possess or obtain an ASRB within 30 days of being hired and maintain a valid ASRB Guard Card for as long as employed.

• Must possess and maintain a valid Alabama Driver's License.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• You may be required to drive a company vehicle between sites.

• This is a physical job that requires the ability to work in different environments and terrains, as well as frequent travel between client buildings and campuses.

• You are required to work inside and outside, regardless of weather conditions.

• You are required to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.

• Flexibility and willingness to work weekends and holidays, and overtime, when needed.
