Pay Rate: $15.50 - $17.50

TRIDENT is looking for a Security Officer to deliver professional security and safety support throughout the Greater Madison area

Our Security Officers are central to our operations and are expected to be highly reliable and detail-oriented. The position requires the ability to work independently with minimal oversight, apply critical thinking to resolve issues, and manage multiple priorities.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Review post orders and any relevant pass-down notes or memos pertaining to the assigned site.

Deliver top-tier customer service to employees, clients, colleagues, and visitors with questions, directions, and general assistance.

Log and document customer inquiries or concerns and route them to the appropriate Trident representative or site contact.

Ensure all issues and complaints are thoroughly documented and escalated to Trident and the Client as needed.

Conduct routine site patrols (every 60 minutes) to uphold order and maintain a visible presence.

Manage and regulate access for authorized vehicles, staff, or visitors on the premises.

Help sustain a safe work environment and verify that all personnel use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Address medical emergencies and administer basic first aid, CPR, and AED as needed.

Perform interior and exterior door inspections to confirm all access points are secure and operational.

Carry out interior and exterior building walkthroughs to identify glass damage, maintenance concerns, hazards, or unusual circumstances.

Report and escalate through the chain of command any incidents involving suspicious individuals or activities.

Perform additional duties as directed by Trident.

PHYSICAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is an active position requiring work across various environments and terrains, with regular movement between client sites.

Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
