Position Summary

TRIDENT is hiring an Overnight Security Officer to provide professional safety and security coverage at client sites in Cupertino, CA. This overnight position calls for an independent, alert professional who is fully comfortable working alone through the late-night hours. The ability to remain sharp, exercise solid judgment, and project a calm and authoritative presence while protecting the facility throughout the night are all critical to succeeding in this role.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work together with fellow Security Specialists to preserve a secure environment for employees and customers throughout the shift.
• Carry out routine foot patrols across all assigned areas to discourage unauthorized activity and uphold a visible presence.
• Detect, document, and respond appropriately to unsafe or unusual conditions on the property.
• Investigate and record security incidents, accidents, and any maintenance-related issues discovered during the shift.
• Respond quickly and effectively to requests for assistance from clients or supervisory staff.
• Assist employees and visitors during emergency situations, evacuations, or other high-risk events.
• Coordinate with law enforcement or public safety personnel when crowd management support is needed.
• Verify credentials for employees seeking entry to restricted or controlled areas of the client facility.
• Enforce parking regulations and manage any vehicle-related issues that arise on the premises.
• Interact with all customers and employees in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner.
• Deliver First Aid, CPR, and AED care during medical emergencies (when certified).
• Conduct a thorough check of all exterior access points to confirm doors, gates, and windows are fully secured and locked.

Education & Background:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in security is preferred.

Required Credentials:

• Must hold or obtain a valid California Guard Card (BSIS) within 30 days of hire.
• Valid California Driver's License required.
