Position Overview:

The Flex Security Officer is responsible for protecting people and property across a range of client locations. This position serves as a proactive deterrent to criminal activity, enforces client-established policies, and identifies and escalates potential safety concerns.

In this Flex Officer role, you will play a central part in fostering safe and well-ordered environments while protecting client assets. The position also opens doors to career growth within TRIDENT, with exposure to a wide range of client sites and opportunities to build leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Protect client facilities and personnel through consistent patrols and a visible security presence
• Recognize, deter, and record suspicious or unsafe conduct and criminal incidents
• Establish a high-visibility posture to reduce policy infractions and maintain a secure environment
• Provide exceptional customer service and conduct all client and visitor interactions with professionalism
• Respond to emergencies and critical situations calmly and decisively
• Complete detailed incident reports and required documentation in a timely manner
• Operate on-site security technology and two-way communication devices
• Fill in for open shifts, unplanned absences, and specialized assignments at various client locations
• Remain reachable by phone or computer and respond in a timely manner to scheduling updates

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Prior experience in a security role is an advantage
• Effective communication abilities — spoken, written, and interpersonal
• Comfortable engaging professionally with people across all levels of an organization
• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening required
• Basic computer proficiency is required
• Dependable, adaptable, and capable of working across a range of shift types
• Able to maintain composure and professionalism under demanding conditions

License & Driving Credentials:

• All required state and local security licenses must be obtained before the start date
• A valid Driver's License is required (for any driving-related assignments)
• At least one year of driving experience with a clean motor vehicle record is required
• No major traffic violations in the preceding 36 months
• No more than one minor violation or at-fault accident within the prior 24 months
• Personal vehicle insurance must be kept current and meet company requirements

Scheduling Requirements:

• Availability for multiple shifts per day, up to all 7 days of the week, is required
• Work schedules are subject to change based on operational demands and may be published weekly
• Availability for on-call duty with a 30-minute response window is required
