These tasks listed below provide a basic guide of your daily duties. We are seeking exceptional, customer service oriented, self-motivated officers who are driven to make a difference. Essential Duties/Tasks:

  • Assist client employees, customers, and visitors with questions, directions, and general inquiries.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide basic first aid, CPR, and AED as certified.
  • Conduct exterior door checks to ensure doors, and gates are secure and functioning properly.
  • Conduct exterior building checks for glass breaks, maintenance issues or hazards.
  • Conduct Mobile Patrols at client campuses throughout the Santa Clara Valley.
  • Conduct regular inspection of all necessary equipment (including radios, bikes, and vehicles) and accessories to ensure operational condition.
  • Work with other client employees at special events.
  • Participate in daily briefings to receive updated information in preparation of shift.
  • Observe and escalate situations involving suspicious persons or situations.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Trident.
 

Required Education and Experience:

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous security experience is preferred.
 

Required License/Certifications:

  • Must possess a valid/current California Driver’s License
  • Must possess a valid/current BSIS guard card

Working Environments/Physical Requirements:

  • You may be required to drive a company vehicle between sites.
  • This is a physical job that requires the ability to work in different environments and terrains, as well as frequent travel between client buildings and/or campuses.
  • You are required to work inside and outside, regardless of weather conditions.
  • You are required to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work weekends and holidays, and overtime, when needed.
 

Reporting Structure & Classification:

  • The Security Specialist is a full-time hourly non-exempt position that reports directly to the Field Quality & Compliance Supervisor.
 

Compensation

  • $25/hr ($26/hr after successful 90-day performance appraisal)
