Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Compensation: $250K – $275K

Trident is a security and strategic services company. We’re not a big bureaucracy. The people here tend to have backgrounds in defense, government work, or law enforcement - and they take what they do seriously. The CFO role here isn’t a figurehead job. You’ll work directly with the CEO, and your input will actually shape how the business runs.
What you’ll be doing:
- Driving financial strategy alongside leadership (not just reporting on it)
- Managing budgets, forecasting, and cash flow
- Supporting growth decisions, potential partnerships, and M&A activity
- Bringing some order and mentorship to a finance team that’s still growing

What we need from you:
- 10+ years in a CFO or equivalent financial leadership role
- You think strategically, not just in spreadsheets
- You can bridge the gap between operations and finance
- You’re comfortable pushing back on leadership when it matters
- MBA or CPA is a nice-to-have, but your track record will matter more
Compensation & Benefits:
- $250K – $275K base salary
- Performance bonus eligibility
