Job Summary:

Corporate Security Coordinator / Site Security Partner (CSC) position works directly with the client’s business units, our contract guard services, and campus service teams and directly assists the client Corporate Security Partner (CSP) at a respective site and location. The CSC has a wide variety of daily responsibilities but can also be leveraged for ad-hoc requests by client Security Leadership. The CSC is a Trident employee, embedded into client staff structure and should always be mindful of their professional visibility and maintain discretion regarding projects assigned. The CSC should be capable of understanding the client’s operational business needs and producing targeted and tangible results through analysis, and cross-functional teamwork support.

A successful candidate is articulate and a creative problem-solver with a background in delivering security-oriented solutions according to the very highest customer service standards. Strong leadership experience, excellent writing skills, ability to work collaboratively amongst a team and employees at all levels, an amazing personality, and a work ethic that will not quit are a must-have for this position.

 

Essential Duties/Tasks. CSC shall represent Trident in a professional and competent manner to meet client requirements, such as:

  • Deliver results and resolve issues for the company and its partners.
  • Partner with security vendors
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of our businesses and needs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of growth and development plans.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain site– or project-specific procedures.
  • Build partnerships with internal business groups.
  • Field security requests for short-term and non-recurring assignments
  • Data collection, report planning, and preparing presentations.
  • Collaborate with leaders from the business units who request security services to ensure each assignment and the scope of work are well-planned and executed.
  • This is an individual contributor role. It does not have any direct reports. There will be opportunities where leadership support is necessary for event execution.
  • Perform other operational-related duties as required and/or directed by management.
     

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience with campus and event security services, program building, guarding service management, or similar is highly preferred.
  • Project management experience and exceptional customer service skills are highly valued.
  • Three to five years of experience in a fast-paced work environment
  • Extensive knowledge of iOS hardware and software including word processing, data analysis, presentation, email, and calendaring programs
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to review and edit the work of others.
  • Strong people skills are required to establish and maintain positive relationships with other employees and external partners globally.
  • Experience presenting to large groups.
  • Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Travel 10-25% of the time, with possible on-call responsibilities.
  • Complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as all client-requested certification; all documentation and fees are the responsibility of the employee unless otherwise noted.
  • Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm and with the ability to deliver a high level of customer service.
  • Have the flexibility to work any shift on any day of the week (Mon-Sun) and willingness to assist the team with overtime when needed.
  • Prior security background is helpful, but not required.

 

Required License/Certifications:

  • Must possess a valid/current Washington Driver’s License.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Highly computer literate with proficiency in Apple (IOS, Numbers, Pages, Keynote), MS Office and related business/communication tools.

Working Environments/Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk or working on a computer.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
  • Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • May be required to drive a company vehicle between sites or to run errands.

 

Reporting Structure & Classification:

  • The Corporate Security Coordinator is a full-time non-exempt, hourly role that administratively reports to a Trident Operations Manager for administrative company support. When performing job description duties, the position is embedded into client organizational structure and reports to the client security representative for operational direction, duties, and other tasks as required.

Compensation:  

  • $42/hr ($43/hr after a successful 90-day performance appraisal)
