TRIDENT is on the hunt for an Afternoon Shift Security Officer to supply professional security and safety services at assigned sites in Cupertino, CA. Running Sunday through Thursday, this afternoon assignment is ideal for a dependable, customer-first professional who enjoys connecting with the public and holding a visible, approachable security presence through the busiest daytime and evening hours. Core Duties

• Join forces with a team of Security Specialists to protect customers and employees across retail settings
• Patrol assigned zones to keep a visible security presence and lower the risk of incidents
• Notice, report, and respond to irregular or unsafe conditions as soon as they surface
• Document and look into security events, accidents, and facility maintenance concerns
• Handle assistance requests from supervisors and client staff with a quick, professional response
• Assist client personnel during evacuations, emergencies, or other hazardous events
• Reinforce crowd management efforts and coordinate with public safety officials as needed
• Confirm employee identification before allowing entry to restricted areas on client property
• Oversee parking compliance and resolve vehicle-related issues on site
• Welcome and assist customers and employees with professionalism and a proactive attitude
• React to medical situations and provide First Aid, CPR, or AED care (if certified)
• Check building exteriors to confirm that all doors, gates, and windows are properly secured
• Attend daily shift briefings and share relevant updates with teammates
• Run mobile patrols between retail locations as directed
• Maintain all company equipment in proper working order at all times
• Produce accurate, thorough written reports as required
• Take on any additional tasks assigned by TRIDENT management

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Prior security experience is preferred

Licensing & Credentials

• Valid California Driver's License
• Valid BSIS Guard Card

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• May be called on to drive a company vehicle between client sites
• Assignments will span multiple retail locations
• Must be ready to work indoors and outdoors regardless of weather
• Job involves steady walking and standing, with long stretches on your feet
• Must be available for weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed

Role Classification

The Security Specialist is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position reporting directly to the Field Supervisor.
