Pay Rate: $25/hr ($26/hr after successful 90-day performance appraisal)

The Opportunity

TRIDENT is hiring a Late Night Security Officer to offer professional security and safety services at a secured commercial facility in Cupertino, CA. This Tuesday through Saturday position is designed for a focused, self-directed professional who thrives in a calmer setting during the overnight hours. Sustained alertness, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and a thorough approach to monitoring and patrolling the facility after business hours are fundamental requirements of this role.

What You'll Do

• Team up with fellow Security Officers to maintain a safe environment for customers and employees in retail settings
• Conduct foot patrols throughout assigned zones to maintain visibility and reduce the risk of incidents
• Detect, report, and address irregular or potentially unsafe conditions as they occur
• Document and investigate security incidents, accidents, and maintenance-related concerns
• Handle requests for assistance from supervisors and client personnel efficiently and professionally
• Help client staff navigate evacuations, emergency situations, or other hazardous events
• Assist with crowd control and liaise with public safety officials when circumstances require
• Validate employee identification for access to restricted areas on client property
• Oversee parking compliance and manage vehicle-related concerns on the premises
• Engage with customers and employees in a professional and welcoming manner
• Deliver First Aid, CPR, or AED assistance during medical emergencies (if certified)
• Sweep building exteriors to ensure all doors, gates, and windows remain secured
• Take part in daily shift briefings and communicate relevant site information to the team
• Execute mobile patrols across retail locations as required
• Maintain company equipment in good working order throughout the shift
• Write thorough, accurate incident and activity reports as needed
• Take on other duties as directed by TRIDENT management

Experience & Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous security experience preferred

Certifications & Licenses

• Valid California Driver's License
• Valid BSIS Guard Card

Physical Requirements & Work Setting

• May be called upon to operate a company vehicle between client locations
• Work will be performed across multiple retail sites
• Must be comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments in any weather
• Position involves frequent walking and standing for extended durations
• Availability for weekends, holidays, and overtime is required as needed

Employment Classification

The Security Officer is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt role that reports directly to the Field Supervisor.
