Position Overview

TRIDENT has an opening for a Graveyard Shift Security Officer to provide professional security and safety services at a secured commercial facility in Cupertino, CA. This Tuesday through Saturday overnight role is made for a disciplined, steady professional who performs at their best during the late-night and early-morning hours. Candidates must bring outstanding situational awareness, the ability to work independently with limited supervision, and a firm dedication to thorough facility monitoring across the full overnight window.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Partner with fellow Security Officers to uphold a safe environment for customers and employees in retail settings
• Perform foot patrols of designated areas to sustain a visible security presence and deter incidents
• Watch for, identify, and address irregular or unsafe conditions throughout the facility
• Document and follow up on security events, accidents, and facility maintenance matters
• Handle assistance requests from supervisors and client personnel as they arise
• Back up client staff during evacuations, emergencies, or hazardous circumstances
• Help with crowd management and coordinate with public safety agencies as needed
• Verify employee credentials when granting access to restricted areas on client property
• Enforce parking regulations and resolve vehicle-related issues on the premises
• Engage with customers and employees in a courteous, professional manner
• Provide First Aid, CPR, or AED support in medical emergencies (if certified)
• Patrol building exteriors to confirm all doors, gates, and windows are secured
• Attend daily shift briefings and relay relevant site updates to the team
• Conduct mobile patrols between retail locations as directed
• Keep all company-issued equipment in strong working condition
• Prepare thorough, accurate written reports as required
• Complete additional tasks assigned by TRIDENT management

Academic & Background

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Prior security experience is preferred

License & Driving Credentials

• Valid California Driver's License
• Valid BSIS Guard Card

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• May be asked to operate a company vehicle between sites
• Will be assigned to multiple retail locations
• Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environments regardless of weather
• Involves regular walking, standing, and extended periods of being on your feet
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

Classification & Reporting

The Security Officer is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt role reporting directly to the Field Supervisor.
