Position Summary

TRIDENT is actively seeking a Retail Security Specialist to deliver professional safety and security services at retail locations across Cupertino, CA. We're looking for a self-motivated individual who is dependable and truly dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. This role calls for strong situational awareness, a professional presence throughout every interaction, and the ability to act decisively in a busy, fast-paced retail setting.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Partner with fellow Security Specialists to safeguard customers and staff throughout retail environments.
• Complete regular foot patrols of all assigned zones to sustain a visible presence and stop incidents before they occur.
• Monitor, evaluate, and respond to unusual or potentially unsafe conditions encountered during the shift.
• Produce thorough documentation and carry out investigations of security events, accidents, and reported maintenance issues.
• Respond to assistance requests from supervisors and client staff quickly and professionally.
• Support client staff during evacuations, emergency responses, or any high-risk events on the premises.
• Coordinate with public safety authorities to help manage crowd control situations when needed.
• Verify employee identification before granting access to secure or restricted client zones.
• Monitor parking lot compliance and resolve vehicle-related incidents or complaints on site.
• Approach every customer and employee interaction with a professional, service-focused attitude.
• Deliver First Aid, CPR, and AED care during medical emergencies (if certified).
• Inspect exterior entry points — doors, gates, and windows — to ensure they are properly secured.

Academic & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous retail security or customer service experience is a plus.

License & Driving Requirements:

• Must obtain or currently possess a valid California Guard Card (BSIS).
• A valid California Driver's License is required.
