Job Summary:

The Security Assessor plays a critical role in delivering a secure, professional, and welcoming environment for our client’s employees and visitors. As a fully embedded member of the client’s workplace team, Trident supports the organization’s safety culture through proactive leadership, exceptional service, and strong on-site presence. 

This position requires a confident, detail-oriented individual who leads by example, maintains high visibility, and supports day-to-day security operations with integrity and professionalism. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, customer-service driven, and capable of balancing both operational duties and team leadership in a dynamic corporate setting. This role is based in Ausitn with periodic travel requires to support other clients sites or special projects. 

 

Essential Duties/Tasks:

  • Responsible for life, safety, & physical security and providing a safe & secure client environment.
  • former military (Special Operations preferred)
    • former Secret Service
    • former FBI or other federal investigative roles
  • Display a positive and supportive attitude toward the customer-centric environment.
  • Build a safe and friendly setting for visitors and clients in a professional manner while safeguarding client assets.
  • Observe for unusual activity and report and/or respond accordingly and safely to potential emergencies on-site.
  • Remain alert to surroundings and proactively identify and communicate concerns as required.
  • Conduct periodic foot patrols.
  • Assist Trident Operations Managers with any client-specific needs as required.
  • Create and distribute reports to update the client and the company on the team’s progress.
  • Build relationships and engage with internal and external partners when appropriate.
  • Respond to safety/security concerns regarding client employees.
  • Collaborate with the client Crisis Management teams to perform assessments as required.
  • Lead and Manage assigned ASO Team Members and assign tasks effectively.
  • Be prepared to take the lead on the following tasks: Executive Protection, Penetration Tests, Observation Posts, Site Security, Event Security
  • All other duties as assigned.
 

Minimum Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4 years of honorable military experience or law enforcement equivalent; or receive a recommendation from the Trident Operations Manager.
 

Required License/Certifications:

  • Possess and maintain a valid state issued driver’s license
  • Possess and maintain a valid state issued security license, when applicable based on assignment.

Working Environments/Physical Requirements

  • Physically capable of moving fast and traveling distances of 2+ miles on foot
  • Work may occur outside in different environments and terrains around the client property, regardless of weather conditions
  • Physically capable to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and lift up to 70 lb.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed
  • Required to drive a company/client vehicle between sites

 

Reporting Structure & Classification:

  • The Security Assessor is a salaried exempt position that reports to client leadership and management for day-to-day tasking, and to the Trident Special Projects Operations Manager for administrative support.

 

Compensation:

  • $115,000 – $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
