Position Summary
The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of client premises in Huntsville, AL. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Officers must be dependable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while providing exceptional customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Familiarize yourself with post orders, pass-down notes, and site-specific instructions.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by assisting with inquiries and directions.
- Document and escalate customer questions, incidents, or concerns appropriately.
- Patrol premises regularly (at least once per hour) to maintain order and ensure security presence.
- Monitor and control access for authorized personnel, vehicles, and visitors.
- Ensure compliance with site safety standards, including use of PPE where required.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide basic first aid, CPR, or AED support if certified.
- Conduct routine inspections of doors, gates, and building interiors/exteriors for security or maintenance issues.
- Report any suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations promptly.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Trident management.

Working Environment & Physical Requirements
- May be required to drive a company vehicle between client sites.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Work includes both indoor and outdoor environments, regardless of weather conditions.
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
