Security Officer

LOCATION: Reno

NV PAY RATE: $20.50 - $21.50/hr

SCHEDULE: Various shifts available. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

POSITION OVERVIEW

TRIDENT is a company of dedicated Security Specialists focused on providing superior Tier-1 level security support services. As a Security Specialist, you are the first impression and point of contact for our clients.
You serve as a public representation of the TRIDENT brand, maintaining safety and security while delivering professional, customer-centric service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

• Familiarize yourself with post orders, pass-down notes, and site-related memos.

• Provide Tier-1 customer service to client employees, customers, co-workers, and visitors regarding questions, directions, and general inquiries.

• Receive and document customer questions or concerns and escalate them to the appropriate Trident representative or Site POC.

• Ensure all issues and complaints are fully documented and appropriately escalated.

• Patrol premises regularly (every 60 minutes) to maintain order and establish presence.

• Monitor and control access of authorized vehicles, personnel, or visitors on the property.

• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all workers wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Respond to medical emergencies and provide basic first aid, CPR, and AED.

• Conduct checks of interior and exterior doors and gates to ensure they are secure and functioning correctly.

• Conduct interior and exterior building checks for glass breaks, maintenance issues, hazards, or unusual situations.

• Observe and escalate any suspicious persons or situations up the chain of command.

• Perform other duties as assigned by Trident.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• May be required to drive a company vehicle between sites.

• Physical role requiring work in different environments, terrains, and travel between client buildings or campuses.

• Work performed inside and outside, regardless of weather conditions.

• Requires sitting, standing, and walking for long periods.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

This is a full-time hourly non-exempt role that reports directly to the Field Supervisor.
