Job Summary

The HR/Administrative Assistant provides essential support to the Human Resources department by ensuring accurate records and smooth onboarding logistics. In this role, you will maintain high standards of confidentiality while serving as a professional point of contact for the TRIDENT brand.

Essential Duties/Tasks

  • Administrative Support: Provide general clerical assistance, including managing mail, emails, and phone calls for the HR department.
  • Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and tracking systems in compliance with company standards.
  • Onboarding Logistics: Assist with coordinating new-hire materials, including printing orientation packets and scheduling training rooms.
  • Internal Communication: Help distribute company memos and announcements; participate in daily briefings to stay informed on operational updates.
  • Office Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of office equipment to ensure everything is in operational condition.
  • Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries about general HR policies and procedures.
  • Operational Flexibility: Drive a company vehicle between client sites as needed to facilitate HR functions or deliver materials.

Required Education and Experience

  • Age/Education: Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Driving History: Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record to support travel between client buildings.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an office environment or administrative role is preferred.

Required License/Certifications

  • Compliance: Must successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Confidentiality: Proven ability to handle personal and sensitive data with strict discretion and integrity.
  • Communication: Effective written and oral communication skills for professional interaction with employees at all levels.
  • Technical Proficiency: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and standard office technology.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to completing work tasks and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Dependability: Strong track record of being reliable, responsible, and consistent in fulfilling job obligations.

Working Environments/Physical Requirements

  • Mobility: Required to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
  • Environment: Ability to work in an office setting and travel between client buildings; exposure to varying weather conditions may occur.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime when necessary to meet business needs.

  • The HR/Administrative Assistant reports directly to the Corporate Human Resources Manager.
