Role Overview

TRIDENT is hiring an Overnight Security Officer to deliver professional safety and security coverage at client locations in Cupertino, CA. This overnight position is for a self-reliant, alert professional who is completely comfortable working solo through the late-night hours. Staying sharp, using sound judgment, and holding a calm, authoritative presence while watching over the facility at night are the keys to succeeding in this role.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work alongside fellow Security Specialists to keep a secure environment for employees and customers throughout the shift.
• Run regular foot patrols across all assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and hold a visible presence.
• Notice, record, and respond appropriately to unsafe or unusual conditions on the property.
• Look into and log security events, accidents, and any maintenance-related issues discovered during the shift.
• Respond quickly and effectively to requests for help from clients or supervisory personnel.
• Support employees and visitors during emergency situations, evacuations, or other high-risk events.
• Coordinate with law enforcement or public safety officers whenever crowd management backup is needed.
• Check credentials for employees attempting to access restricted or controlled zones of the client facility.
• Enforce parking regulations and handle any vehicle-related issues that arise on the premises.
• Engage with all customers and employees in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner.
• Provide First Aid, CPR, and AED care during medical emergencies (when certified).
• Carry out thorough inspections of all exterior access points to confirm doors, gates, and windows are fully secured and locked.

Education & Background:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Prior security experience is preferred.

Required Credentials:

• Must possess or obtain a valid California Guard Card (BSIS) within 30 days of hire.
• A valid California Driver's License is required.
