Job Summary: The Advanced Security Operator (ASO) Team Member is responsible for enhancing safety and security while maintaining a professional, welcoming presence for client employees and authorized visitors across assigned corporate campuses. We seek self-motivated professionals with strong customer service skills, sound judgment, and the ability to operate independently within a team environment. 

Essential Duties/Tasks: 

  • Provide a safe and secure environment for assigned client campuses. 

  • Protect the life, safety, and physical security of assigned personnel, facilities, and assets. 

  • Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized or disruptive activity. 

  • Monitor campus activity and identify unusual or suspicious behavior. 

  • Respond appropriately and professionally to on-site incidents or emergencies. 

  • Work independently while delivering exceptional customer service. 

  • Establish and maintain a professional and approachable demeanor with employees and visitors. 

  • Conduct periodic foot patrols throughout assigned campus areas. 

  • Communicate effectively with campus leadership and security management regarding incidents or concerns. 

  • Report all security-related incidents to the ASO Team Leader. 

  • Coordinate with campus operations under the direction of the ASO Team Leader. 

  • Remain alert to surroundings and proactively identify and report security concerns. 

  • Assist with escorts for employees or visitors as required. 

  • Perform all other duties as assigned. 

Education and Experience: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 

  • Minimum of four (4) years of honorable military service or equivalent law enforcement or professional security experience. 

License/Certifications: 

  • Valid Washington State Security Guard Card (must be maintained). 

  • Valid Washington State driver’s license (must be maintained). 

  • Peace Officer Standards Training (POST) certification preferred. 

  • Honorable military discharge (DD-214 required, if applicable). 

Skills/Abilities: 

  • Situational Awareness: Strong situational awareness and observation skills. 

  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication abilities. 

  • Stress Tolerance: Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed under stress. 

  • Adaptability: Ability to receive direction and execute tasks effectively. 

  • Initiative: Confidence and initiative in identifying and resolving security concerns. 

  • Communication: Strong written communication and incident reporting skills. 

Working Environments/Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to move quickly and travel distances exceeding two (2) miles on foot. 

  • Ability to work across varying campus environments and terrain. 

  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. 

  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds. 

  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as operationally required. 

  • Ability to operate company or client vehicles between campus sites. 

  • Ability to stand and remain on duty for a minimum of eight (8) hours. 

Reporting Structure & Classification:  

  • The ASO Team Member is an hourly non-exempt position that normally reports directly to an ASO Team Leader for day-to-day tasking, and to Trident Special Projects Operations Manager for administrative support. Operational reporting structure for day-to-day tasking and/or Administrative reporting structure may be subject to change depending on the nature of the assignment. 

Or for client embedded positions:   

  • The ASO Team Member is an hourly non-exempt position that reports to client leadership and management for day-to-day tasking, and to the Trident Special Projects Operations Manager for administrative support. 

 

Compensation 

• Starting pay: $48.00 per hour 

• Overtime in accordance with Washington State law 

• Time-and-a-half pay for company-approved holidays
